Lost directory /tmp/hddmedia/

Hi,

I don't know how but in my HMR-600W there is no directory /tmp/hddmedia. If it is a symbolic link, can somebody explain me where it points ? If its a hard directory, how can I rebuilt it ?

Tried update of last firmware, but /tmp/hddmedia is still missing. Now I'm running firmware C557HP ( 27/07/2010 ).

Yes, "/tmp/hddmedia" is a symbolic link.
The link points to "/tmp/hdd/volumes"
I don't know if this info is usefull for you, but in some special condition (e.g. device software crash), you're no more able to "see" HD (something like a symbolic link broken).
In any case the workaround solution is to power-off the device using the hardware switch.
