Installo WNMare su XP e poi Ubuntu. OK?

Parlando specificatamente del FW 1.95 dello IAMM devo usare YAFFFS o SquashFS? Sai suggerimi una guida rapida per quello che mi serve?

Dici che le modifiche sono scarse: puoi per cortesia elencarmi cosa si puo' fare?

Il mie obiettivi sono:

- poter lanciare automaticamente uno script, per esempio per avviare Mediatomb (./mediatomb.sh), che richiede di essere laciato da una specifica posizione
- poter lanciare uno script alla pressione di un tasto del telecomando

Ad occhio e croce non ti serve modificare il firmware, basta eventualmente editare /usr/local/etc/rcS e scrivere un po' di codice xml + shell.

La modifica è possibile anche usando irfake e costruendosi un fiel di configurazione dei codici del teelcomando per cui alla rpessione di un determinato tasto venga avviata uan detrminata applicazione.

If you want to program / reprogram the other buttons on the RC or use another RC with the HD2 FW, you must edit the file /usr/local/etc/irfake/irfake.conf, by FAR or TC. The file irfake.conf can contain the following types of commands:

Se vuoi sviluppare puoi chiedere al moderatore (Galerio) di diventare livello Hacker.
Sviluppare non è una funzionalitÃ* richiesta dalla maggior parte degli utenti e per questo un thread dedicato con livello utente dedicato.

La piattaforma di sviluppo dello IAMM è la stessa per tutti i prodotti su base hardware Realtek RTD1283.
Non esiste qualcosa di esclusivo dello IAMM che non trovi negli altri prodotti.
Quindi non capisco il tuo ragionamento.

Il thread di sviluppo è quello che ti è stato indicato.

Non so quali sono le tue aspettative sull'ordine del thread di sviluppo.
E' giÃ* una risorsa sicuramente maggiormente disponibile rispetto ad altri forum.
Se pensi che non sia suffciiente, puoi chiedere di farti elevare il livello utente e fare tu una guida come secondo te sono le tue apsettative.

Veramente sono io che non capisco perche' dovrei chiedere di diventare Hacker per fare una semplice domanda.

Perchè quello che vuoi fare tu è una modifica della struttura interna del firmware.

Non è una richiesta di supporto del prodotto (perchè questo o quello non funziona).

Se leggi la risposta sopra la tua c'è l'indicazione su come usare irfake.
